Last updated: May 31, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PayKasse uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our checkout platform. By continuing to use the platform, you consent to our use of cookies as described here.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way to cookies.

2. How We Use Cookies

PayKasse uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential / Functional — to maintain your checkout session, keep your cart and entered details while you complete your purchase, and prevent duplicate orders
  • Security — to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, protect against CSRF attacks, and ensure secure payment processing
  • Performance — to understand how users interact with the checkout and identify technical issues
  • Merchant analytics & tracking — merchants may configure tracking pixels (Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc.) on their checkout; these are set by the respective third-party provider

  • View cookies that have been set
  • Block cookies from being set
  • Delete existing cookies

Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the checkout from functioning correctly. Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising) can be disabled without affecting the core payment flow.

6. Apple Pay & Payment Wallet Cookies

When Apple Pay is offered via our Ziina integration, Apple may set cookies or use device-level tokens to verify your payment credentials. These are essential for the Apple Pay flow and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. No Apple Pay payment data is stored by PayKasse.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our platform evolves or regulations change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
